Our first project is to work with the IRC...
We will be tutoring english to war refuges at the irc, its on the marta line- They really, really need help, these people were dumped off a C111 transport & their surival depends on learning english before the fed govmt. cuts off their money- half dont have western clothes yet. It will be a real eye opener for our group- ( it was for me, and think of all the stuff Ive seen- Kirk)
Kirk can tell us what to expect, show them what would be involed, and take them down and introduce them, or they can work with me monday mornings- I dont know, just a thought........... but it gets them out of their comfort zone, and lets face it, a lot of being a good photographer is learning to do just that-
